The Digital TrueFlow® Air Handler Flow Meter presents an innovative solution for accurately measuring airflow in residential air handlers. This device temporarily replaces the filter within the air handler distribution system during the measurement process, allowing for precise readings.

In scenarios where the filter is situated directly next to the air handler, the TrueFlow Meter effectively measures total airflow through the system. Conversely, when the filter is positioned at a central return, the meter measures airflow through that return instead. This versatility makes it applicable across a variety of air handler configurations.

One notable feature of the TrueFlow Meter is its ease of use in field applications. It delivers direct CFM readings within a mere 2 to 3 minutes, eliminating the need for complex calculations or extensive setup. Additionally, it has demonstrated greater accuracy compared to traditional methods such as the single-point temperature rise technique and offers a more straightforward alternative to fan curve methods.
